You say that writing that terminal command would install beryl. An unlucky computer illiterate might try that one day thinking it would download it from the net for them if they didn't already have an uncompiled one on their computer. (I'm pretty sure that's not what it does?) They'll get a nasty surprise!!! lol

No, apt-get downloads and installs applications from OS repositories. No need to compile anything!
