I've had compiz disabled for a while now, due to the fact that I run Source games under WINE.
However, It's becoming rather irresistible now, especially with the widgets layer.

I knew you'd come round in the end. What's the point of a desktop Linux distro like Ubuntu but with no desktop effects? Mac OS X has 'em, Vista has an excuse for 'em, so you have to keep up with the Jones'!
