I (well, my family) just got £400 for christmas so we'll be getting a new amp and speakers, and I'll be getting more RAM for my GNU/Linux PC, and the PMG5 aswell hopefully.

GNU?
GNU made lots of utilities that come with the linux kernel as an 'Operating System'. GNU in fact are such an important part of the whole OS that it should apropriately be called GNU/Linux. Linux is just the kernel, and you can't do much with just a kernel.
No, actually GNU/Linux refers to the OS as a whole, sine most apps are GNU licenced
